11th October 2019
I went to school with Alex, back then I was a very angry kid with a lot of issues, and I'm sad to say that myself and Alex had our conflicts. The memory I have of Alex is that he didn't hold onto the past and was kind enough to be one of the few people to sincerely wish me well when we finished secondary school and that's something I deeply admired because I tend to struggle with my past. Everyone liked Alex and next to nobody liked me, I had very poor social skills because of my autism and I acted out violently.... as an older and wiser person I now see why alex was so loved and I have nothing but respect and admiration for the young man he was. He enriched the lives of those around him and accomplished so much in the short time he was alive! My deepest condolences, may he rest in peace.
